Perhaps the higher moisture in those beds combined with the extreme amounts of rain did that. They are nonexistant in the beds on the right.</p><p>They're annoying because they grow through the potatoes, are sticky and difficult to separate. I've weeded about half of it before the next rain shower, it was more work than the entire right side together (which is more than twice as big) and I didn't get everything as they're so intertwined.</p><p>We'll see if this is worth it when we harvest.</p><p><a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Garden" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Garden</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Gardening" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Gardening</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Homestead" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Homestead</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/NoDig" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NoDig</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Potato" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Potato</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Weed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Weed</span></a></p>
