Somebody was asking me who the “Most famous accordionist in the world” was

In Anglo North America it certainly #WeirdAl who is a pretty decent accordionist, and from briefly talking to him and every account, a really nice guy

But outside of that, it becomes a much more interesting regional and generational question

Because there’s some young audiences who still listen to #accordion in places like Mexico and Lesotho and I don’t know where the biggest crowds are

The Presidents of the USA frontman #ChrisBallew says These Are the Good Times People was more than an album title—it was a coping mechanism.

We talked about #WeirdAl, opening for #TomPetty, the shift from ’90s alt fame to preschool singalongs, and why the Presidents were basically Caspar Babypants with louder guitars and more innuendo.

LPM · Chris Ballew: "We definitely had one foot out by the end"By Kyle Meredith

Tonight's movie is AMAZING!! So clever and so funny!

It's Weird: The Al Yankovic Story! And it's free to watch on Roku.

Just like Weird Al wrote parody songs, his biopic movie is a masterful parody! So much is NOT him or what he was like, but if you know that, it makes the parody funnier.

RokuRokuRoku provides the simplest way to stream entertainment to your TV. On your terms. With thousands of available channels to choose from.

Tonight's movie is another classic comedy that's a favorite of mine: UHF (1989). It's Weird Al Yankovic's first movie and it's free to stream on Tubi and PlutoTV!

"An unemployed visionary becomes the manager of a local television station. The station becomes a success, with all sorts of hilarious sight gags and wacky humor."

Stars Weird Al Yankovic, Victoria Jackson, Michael Richards, Kevin McCarthy, Fran Drescher, David Bowe, Billy Barty, & Gedde Watanabe.

Directed by Jay Levey
Music by John Du Prez
