#AAA is a pro-car political lobbying org that funds itself with towing plans and car insurance. My thought is that if one is interested in the US spending less on cars vs, say, public transit, one should consider not pushing $$ to AAA.

I hear you about State Farm. If you want suggestions, we've used Amica Mutual for 20 years. They've been good - particularly in emergencies.
