US and Zionist Regime Attack Gaza, Yemen as Regional War Looms

After a fragile ceasefire that lasted roughly two months, the Zionist regime has resumed its aggression on Gaza with intense airstrikes, resulting in an initial toll of 404 martyrs thus far and many more injuried, including many in critical condition, the enclave’s Health Ministry said on Tuesday, declaring a state of emergency.

Earlier, the Government Media Office in Gaza reported that over 404 people have been killed or are missing in a span of five hours, with dozens more injured.

The Zionist regime has launched a new wave of airstrikes targeting various cities in Gaza, including a particularly intense strike on eastern Gaza.

Zionist warplanes have bombed homes in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, and northeast of the Nuseirat refugee camp. Meanwhile, Zionist artillery has shelled the town of al-Fukhari, east of Khan Younis in the south.

Gaza’s streets remained deserted as residents are gripped with fear, with warplanes filling the sky.

Palestinian media reported that Major General Mahmoud Abu Watfa, Deputy Minister of Interior in Gaza, was killed in a Zionist strike on Gaza City.

The occupation military also issued evacuation orders for a number of neighborhoods in Gaza.

Hamas said it is engaged in communications with mediators regarding the current situation, adding that it is keen to complete the implementation of the ceasefire in Gaza, Reuters reported.

The Media Office said the occupation is violating the ceasefire agreement and continuing its genocide against civilians, in blatant disregard for all international and humanitarian conventions.

It stated that these brutal massacres are taking place amid a catastrophic and suffocating siege, with all border crossings completely blocked, as more than 2.4 million Palestinians in Gaza were deprived of the most basic necessities of life, including food, medicine, water, baby formula, and essential supplies. Zionist media reported that the occupation has shut down the Rafah border crossing.

Due to the dire security conditions and the paralysis of the transportation sector, the transfer of a large number of martyrs to hospitals has been hindered, the Government Media Office in Gaza noted. It emphasized that most of the martyrs and missing persons are women, children, and elderly individuals, describing the ongoing events as acts of genocide targeting people, land, and history.

The office stressed that the latest massacres reaffirm that the occupation knows only the language of killing, destruction, and genocide and expose its true intentions to shed innocent blood without any moral or legal restraint.

According to the statement, this is happening alongside the collapse of Gaza’s healthcare system due to the continued blockade on medical supplies and humanitarian aid, which threatens to bring hospitals to a complete halt, rendering them incapable of providing medical care to the wounded and sick.

Furthermore, it warned that the ongoing ban on fuel entry for essential sectors in Gaza will push the Strip into a full-scale disaster in every sense of the word.

‘Global green light for extermination of Gaza’

Dr. Mohammad Abu Salmiya, director of al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, warned that large quantities of medicines and medical supplies have been depleted due to the ongoing war and blockade.

Abu Salmiya said that “the situation in Gaza is catastrophic and tragic,” adding that the number of martyrs exceeded 350 and that this figure is expected to rise.

“We have no capacity to accommodate the increasing number of martyrs and wounded arriving at the remaining hospitals in Gaza,” he added.

He further revealed, “The morgues are unable to accommodate any more martyrs.”

Abu Salmiya also stated, “The occupation seeks to kill as many civilians as possible in Gaza following the resumption of its aggression.”

“We are expecting to hear shocking news in the coming hours regarding the increase in the number of martyrs,” he continued.

Abu Salmiya also emphasized, “There is a global green light for the extermination of Gaza.”

He pointed out that “the roads are destroyed and there are no civil defense vehicles available to reach the martyrs and the wounded trapped under the rubble.”

Meanwhile, UNICEF’s spokesperson in Gaza reported that airstrikes have hit tents and facilities sheltering displaced families.

In response to the escalating situation, the Ministry of Education in Gaza announced the suspension of classes in all schools and educational institutions until further notice.

Zionist media quoted a security source stating that negotiations for a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange deal are resuming “under fire”. Additionally, the media reported that the Zionist government ministers have been instructed not to give interviews regarding the attacks on Gaza.

Yemen faces onslaught for combating US-backed genocide

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they targeted the Nevatim Air Base in the occupied al-Naqab with a Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missile, confirming that the strike successfully hit its target.

In a statement, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree warned that Yemen will expand its range of targets within occupied Palestine in the coming hours and days unless the Zionist regime halts its aggression against Gaza.

“Yemen—its leadership, people, and army—will not stand idly by as it witnesses these massacres against our brothers in Gaza,” Saree declared. “We will dedicate all our capabilities and resources to the defense and support of the oppressed in Palestine until these crimes stop.”

He further reiterated Yemen’s commitment to confronting the United States and blocking Zionist navigation until the aggression ceases, the siege is lifted, and humanitarian aid is allowed into Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced Tuesday that the US aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman has been targeted in the northern Red Sea with two cruise missiles and two drones.

American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman “was targeted in the northern Red Sea with two cruise missiles and two drones,” Saree said, adding, “A US destroyer was attacked with a cruise missile and four drones.”

Saree pointed out that the aforementioned targeting was “the third in the past 48 hours, and the enemy was struck by a state of confusion, which prompted many of its warships to retreat towards the northern Red Sea region, and an air attack that was being prepared against our country was thwarted.”

The American aggressor bears all the consequences of militarizing the Red Sea and expanding the circle of confrontation by continuing to launch aggression against Yemen, which negatively impacts international shipping traffic.

The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that they will not cease targeting all hostile targets in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea until the aggression against our country stops and that they are prepared to confront any American or Israeli escalation in the coming hours and days.

The Yemeni Armed Forces salute all the sons of our great Yemeni people who went out today in response to the call of Leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi (may God protect him) on the Day of Furqan, the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr, to affirm the faithful and jihadist stance supporting the Palestinian people and rejecting the American aggression against our country. They also signaled readiness to counter any potential US or Israeli escalation.

A high-ranking Yemeni source said that Yemen’s military operations in the region will not stop until humanitarian aid reaches Gaza. The source added that if the blockade on Gaza persists, Yemen will adopt “new military options,” warning that continued US attacks could lead to “painful choices yet to begin.” The source further cautioned Americans, stating that “Trump is leading their economy toward collapse.”

HTS reactionary regime attacks Lebanon in collusion with US imperial schemes

Militants from the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) group have occupied five kilometers of the eastern Lebanese town of Hawsh al-Sayyed Ali up until now and are carrying out house thefts, the local mayor of the town said on Tuesday, amid cross-border clashes over the past two days, which resulted in 10 fatalities.

Local sources said that the fascists entered parts of the Lebanese town of Hawsh al-Sayyed Ali after a ceasefire took effect, noting that the Lebanese Army has not entered the area where the militants are stationed within the town.

Lebanon’s Minister of Defense, Michel Menassa, and his Syrian counterpart, Murhaf Abu Qasra, reached an agreement on a ceasefire, as confirmed in statements from the Lebanese and Syrian defense ministries on Monday.

According to the Syrian and Lebanese defense ministries, the clashes left three HTS militants and seven Lebanese killed. Additionally, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported that 52 people were injured on the Lebanese side.

Both defense ministers also agreed to maintain ongoing communication between the military intelligence agencies of both countries to prevent further escalation at the border.

Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Foreign Minister, Youssef Raji, met with his Syrian counterpart, Asaad al-Shibani, in Brussels to address the cross-border situation, agreeing to keep communication lines open, as reported by Lebanon’s state news agency NNA.

A Lebanese security source informed Reuters that the three militants initially crossed into Lebanese territory and were subsequently killed by armed members of a tribe in northeastern Lebanon, who feared their town was under attack. Later, Syrian forces shelled Lebanese border towns overnight, as confirmed by both the Syrian defense ministry and the Lebanese army.

In a statement on Monday, Lebanon’s army confirmed it had transferred the bodies of the three Syrian militants to Syrian authorities, noting that it had responded to fire from Syrian territory and deployed reinforcements to the border area.

Hawsh al-Sayyed Ali being looted by militants

Lebanese Member of Parliament, Ihab Hamadeh, said that “there were no clashes on the border between Lebanon and Syria; rather, there was targeting of Lebanese land.”

He added that the Lebanese army is confronting “the occupiers in every sense of the word, and it is the one leading the battle.”

Hamadeh hoped that “it won’t be long before the army enters the town of Hosh al-Sayyed Ali, as it is currently being looted by the occupying militants.”

“There is an occupation of Lebanese territory, and we are raising our voice on this matter to the President of the Republic, knowing that the army is confronting the occupiers,” he said.

The Lebanese lawmaker also noted that the army is deployed across the entire border and has reinforced its presence along the border line between Lebanon and Syria.

Notably these attacks by HTS were done in tandem with the regional escalation from Washington and the Zionist regime, again demonstrating the collusion of the Gulf States, al Qaeda, and the Western colonial forces.

Drop Site News · With Massive Airstrikes on Yemen, Trump Intensifies Undeclared War Against the Poorest Country in the Arab WorldBy Shuaib Almosawa

#Trump & #Vance began to berate #Zelensky in front of the press after he pointed out that #Putin has a track record of breaking agreements — a problem for an administration that believes it can bring a quick end to #5Russia’s bloody war of #aggression.

For Zelensky, Putin’s #untrustworthiness as a negotiating partner is a particularly sore point. He won Ukraine’s 2019 presidential election on a campaign of bringing peace to the country, and met with Putin afterwards in an effort to negotiate an end to what was then a comparatively small-scale war.

“We signed an exchange of prisoners, but [Putin] didn’t exchange prisoners. What kind of diplomacy are you speaking about?” Zelensky asked, adding that Putin had broken a ceasefire by launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

Vance then replied that he was “talking about the kind of diplomacy that’s going to end the destruction of your country.”

Vance then threw in some red meat for Trump, telling Zelensky: “I think it’s disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office & try to litigate this in front of the American media.”

Vance added that Ukraine has manpower problems, & that Zelensky should be “thanking” Trump.

After another back-and-forth, Vance repeated the point: “Do you think that its respectful to come into the Oval Office of the United States America & attack the administration that is trying to prevent the destruction of your country?”

Once Vance made it about Trump’s ego, there was no going back.

“You’re right now not in a very good position,” Trump told Zelensky at one point.

Vance continued to pour fuel on the fire:

“Have you said thank you once? This entire meeting? No,” he said. “In this entire meeting have you said thank you? You went to Pennsylvania & campaigned for the opposition in October.”

From there, Trump lost it.

“Your country is in big trouble,” he said, adding later: “It’s going to be a very hard thing to do business like this.”

After the meeting, Trump said on Truth Social that Zelensky had “disrespected” him & could come back to the White House once “he is ready for peace.”

If the past is any track record, that means demanding that Zelensky do the one thing he refused to do in the Oval Office on Friday: #capitulate.

TPM - Talking Points Memo · Trump And Vance Ambush Zelensky In Prelude To BetrayalBy Josh Kovensky

A quotation from Franklin Roosevelt

We will not be intimidated by the threats of dictators that they will regard as a breach of international law or as an act of war our aid to the democracies which dare to resist their aggression. Such aid is not an act of war, even if a dictator should unilaterally proclaim it so to be.

Comrade Exaucé, Fallen on the Field of Honor: DR Congo

The youth of the Congolese Communist Party is fighting in the battle against imperialism and its local accomplices at the cost of their blood. A comrade, a son, Exaucé,  who was always behind the general secretary of the PCCO during our political meetings has fallen.

He liked the red color behind his organization. The color symbolizing the proletarian internationalism of our struggle against imperialism.

He has just fallen, weapon in hand, in a field of honor for the defense of the homeland. The political and biological family of the Secretary General of the PCCO is shaken by this news.

Defending the homeland at the cost of blood is the most beautiful sacrifice. He will be an example of patriotism for the PCCO. His clothes still remain at the house of the Secretary General of the PCCO.

You cannot mobilize other people’s children without mobilizing your own, we must go and defend the homeland. After military training in Kotakoli, in Kisangani, we will all go directly to the battlefield.

Despite your military attire, Exaucé,  the red party uniform was always with you.

You have successfully completed your journey on earth: you have led the fight of Lumumba, Pierre Mulele and Laurent Désiré Kabila, paying with your life.

To die with a weapon in hand to defend the homeland is a road to glory. Go in peace my son, my comrade, you are great.

Boswa Isekombe Sylvestre Secretary General of PCCO, the lion with the red heart

True fighter fulfilled, during our meetings at the base, you were always present.
Glory to your fight.
