Yeah, this tap-to-wake bug is definitely affecting my Pixel since the Android 16 update. Doesn't affect my wife's but she switches her phone off overnight whereas I only reboot when necessary. Really irritating.

Samsung Galaxy A07 appears in test servers for the first time!

As of today, Samsung is working on the software for the Galaxy A07, which is an upcoming entry-level phone that will be released later. Samsung’s test servers have shown that the Galaxy A07 is currently under testing. The current test firmware versions are as follows:

  • SM-A075F: A075FXXU1AYG6
  • SM-A075M: A075MUBU1AYG5

As the test firmware state has reached the point where the bootloader version became 1 from the initial zero, this means that Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy A07 device soon with no exact time frame. This new phone will be running One UI 8.0 out of the box.

Currently, this is the amount of information that we have, but we’ll let you know when this device gets released.

Get ready for Galaxy Unpacked July 2025!

Galaxy Unpacked July 2025 is set to be more exciting, because it features new foldable devices, such as the Z Fold7 and the Z Flip7 devices, which will run with One UI 8 out of the box. This software will also be announced publicly in this event, which will accompany with the official rollout of the software as the Beta program for the phones concludes itself.

Not only will this Unpacked event feature those upcoming foldable devices, but Samsung will also showcase the new smartwatches, which are Galaxy Watch8, Galaxy Watch8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. Those watches will come with the One UI 8 Watch software installed out of the box, while the same software undergoes beta testing similar to how the previous One UI 6 Watch was released with the watches released on 2024 before the beta program ended.

It’s also possible that other devices and miscellaneous improvements may be announced in this event, such as Project Moohan for Android XR.

Thinking of trying #GrapheneOS on my pixel 7 pro phone go avoid #Android16 and #gemini #ai.

Anyone done this? I expect most things will be fine, especially interested in whether banking apps are ok with it as I need access to my #starlingBank app. I'm also a mildly worried the phone won't be able to do wifi calling?

Advice from experience v welcome!

EDIT: I did it. It's awesome, everything works including the bank app!
