I noticed #Aure @Free_Press has become a very active "news" account on the #Fediverse (mainly #Mastodon), with frequent updates & videos and some 12K followers.
It claims to be the "Largest Fediverse News Service", says it is producing "Award Winning Journalism", and is very pro-Ukraine and critical of Trump.
But: there is no info on who is running it, other than someone called "Aure" located in "New Hampshire, USA".
Anyone with more information about who is putting in the work and money here?

While I hate the ugly semi-winter here in Germany I'd exchange everything for a more cold and bitter one in a Scandinavian environment. Seeing how fast the mountains got covered by snow last October was a great experience and although the Winter in the North isn't easy, I'd welcome this challenge with open arms!

After searching shelter from a nearing thunderstorm we either discovered the end of the rainbow for the first time or the rainbow bridge to Valhalla guarded by Heimdall himself. Whatsoever, a second rainbow appeared as well, doubling the rare impression of what a thunderstorm can create within seconds!

Seeing a complete Aurora Borealis is (still) one part of my personal bucket list. This year in early October, I was closer to reaching this goal than ever before, but as the forecast was still moderate, this scenery at 2 am was the best I could achieve - this time!
