"The Way You Love Me" is a song written by #KeithFollesé and Michael Dulaney and recorded by American #countryMusic singer #FaithHill. It was released on February 14, 2000, as the second single from her fourth studio album, #Breathe (1999), and was later released to pop radio on August 15, 2000, becoming Hill's third single serviced to the format. The track utilizes #AutoTune for Hill's backup vocals. "The Way You Love Me" was a commercial success.

Good news for #singers, #musicians, and #music nerds:

Fil from @wingsofpegasus has started authenticvocal.com to separate those who don't use #AutoTune or pitch correction from those who do.

If you want to hear #vocals that are real human voices, and not digitized and "corrected" to snap to lines on a graph; if you hate vocal harmonies sounding like synthesizers; if you're tired of holding your own vocals to an impossible standard of pitch accuracy: Soon you can begin looking for this logo on your favorite musician's output:

If you want to hear #vocals that are real human voices, and not digitized and "corrected" sound files; if you hate vocal harmonies sounding like synthesizers; if you're tired of holding your own vocals to an impossible standard of pitch accuracy; then in a few months, look for this logo on your favorited musician's output:

The older I get, the less I like autotune, it is really ruining music, those vocal imperfections really make music better.

One example: Incubus' Morning View album was rerecorded and released recently, and yes, you can hear the recording is better and their performances are better, but the autotune on the vocals ruins it for me. #incubus #autotune

I’ve been listening to #MassiveAttack lately (I was of course aware of them but didn’t listen much), and I have to say #ElizabethFraser has an amazing voice. The kind so rare nowadays where she can hit each note, cleanly, hold it, and not play any gimmicks on it. All while giving real emotion, even when singing softly.

And no #autotune in sight (the cheapest and worst vocal effect ever).

#Teardrop is the signature track of course, but #BlackMilk is lovely.

Pretty sure this is #AI-generated music. It's okay if it helps you running (away). In the long #run it will be way harder to find original stuff buried under these average and same sounding #PromptMusic.

In a time where tech bros try to automate the joy of being creative I blame all this #AutoTune and #Melodyne shit in the last decade that we can't tell the difference anymore...

You better run...
