It was a long time ago that you posted it, but I've been getting into Tarot quite significantly over the past few years. Tarot was created by folks who clearly took heavy inspiration from Judaism, but gave it their own, polytheological twist. They made up their own Hermetic Quabala, based heavily on the original. If I want to study Tarot further, I'd be kinda cornered into studying both the original and modified Quabala, as well as a good overview of the theology, before moving on to the other influences.

The reason why I bother bringing it up is that it's come to my understanding that Quabala isn't exclusively Jewish, and variations exist across the spectrum of Abrahamic religions. There is a Christan variation on Quabala.

I want to learn more, but I obviously don't want to ruin anything for anyone else. What are your thoughts? I wonder if any other folks on #Babka can chip in their thoughts?
