Slowly increasing the brightness of my lighting so not to spook the badgers.
I was lucky that the 2 babies came out for dinner last night 🦡🥰
Even luckier to get a decent photo with the low light, long exposure and 2x moving targets.
Baby badgers - badglings, badglets, buppies, bittens (?)

I've been feeding a family of badgers through the years.
Recently my trap cam caught 2 youngsters & the mum coming to the garden.
I braved the freezing night air to stand and watch last night, It was so amazing to see, only one turned up but I'll try again tonight, hopefully it'll be a full turn out
The LED worked well to see what's going on

N.B. And by "you," I mean the literary "you," as I'm sure "you," the reader, are fully informed if you need to concern yourself with the upcoming Wisconsin Supreme Court election.

Further, note that atop the Supreme Court chamber door in Madison is a larger-than-life (or is it?) statue of an actual badger.

February is when most female #badgers will be giving birth to this year's cubs in their setts underground. Litter sizes vary between one and five youngsters. We won’t see any cubs for another eight weeks or so, as they take their first steps above ground in late April and early May. Be safe and well, baby badgers.
