Johan030 | PD1JMB<p>Re-did my <a href="https://mas.to/tags/yaesu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>yaesu</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/ft857" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ft857</span></a> DC wiring. Soldered <a href="https://mas.to/tags/bananaplug" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bananaplug</span></a> sockets to the wires and crimped a spade connecgltor and and socket to the brown low power and ground wire. Soldered plugs to the rest of the wire and fuse holders.</p><p>Now everything can be connected to the 13.8V power supply but also to a battery if neccesary. I will likely run the rig in low power all the time.</p><p>If high power is needed the brown wire can be disabled easily. <a href="https://mas.to/tags/hamradio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>hamradio</span></a></p>
