@DrALJONES a beautiful fiction book, written recently, set in the near future has a message of hope, anger and love while describing a future where these billionaires - known as "astronauts" - have holed up into coastal fortresses, and the central character begins a journey, following a terrible event, led by love, hope and anger. It's called "I Cheerfully Refuse", by Leif Enger. I really enjoyed reading it. It's also a retelling of Orpheus and Eurydice.
We need hope and anger right now, not despair and fear.
