I think it's a wonderful, easy-to-use, <em>and</em> extremely flexible desktop. But sometimes I really don't want a desktop, I just want a lean-and-basic UI that stays out of my way (for home stuff vs. work stuff, generally).</p>

There isn't a port of <a href="https://m.galaxybound.com/tags/bspwm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>bspwm</span></a>, and I'm not changing all of my workflows for something that provides me no benefits whatsoever. It's literally uncommenting a single line in a config file to disable Wayland.</p>

Paul Wilde :blobcatnim_new: :dontpanic_nobg:There are no good tiling window managers for Wayland... if you're a <a class="hashtag" href="https://notnull.click/tag/bspwm" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#bspwm</a> fan<br><br>The "xorg is unmaintained" situation is concerning - not that it's a huge deal, it works for now and I still use old hardware so I'll be alright for a good few years yet.<br><br><a class="hashtag" href="https://notnull.click/tag/riverwm" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#riverwm</a> looks promising, maybe there's some hope there... ? I dunno, everything in wayland seems half done... and wayland's already old!
