JukkaAnother day in the goshawk forest. I followed a pair Eurasian jays go about their day. They moved in the trees and seemed to pull snacks out of nowhere – probably food they had cached earlier. Surprisingly, they mimicked goshawk calls. And since they spoke of their devil, it did appear a while later. A passerby told me he had seen the goshawk pair mating in the morning while the female was eating a squirrel. Huh, they are early... Finally, I noticed that there were still a few hardy lingonberries on the ground. The berries keep well.
