Australian Geographic<p>What if we could get cane toads to destroy themselves? Well, there is a solution for that too – and it is inspired by Peter Pan.</p><p>📷 Etienne Littlefair &amp; Chris Jolly</p><p><a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/ausgeo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ausgeo</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/seeaustralia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>seeaustralia</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/canetoad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>canetoad</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/conservation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>conservation</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/frog" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>frog</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/tadpole" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tadpole</span></a> <br><a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/environment" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>environment</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/globalwarming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>globalwarming</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/academia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>academia</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/research" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>research</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/academicchatter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>academicchatter</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/biology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>biology</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/nature" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>nature</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/wildlife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>wildlife</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/photography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>photography</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/science" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>science</span></a> <a href="https://newsmast.social/tags/scientist" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>scientist</span></a></p>

Great big toads brought to Australia to eat cane beetles, but that didn&#39;t really work.
