Sometimes I get so bogged down trying to do a thing that it stops me from doing another thing. Case in point: In trying to get perfect photos for my new bracelets, they've been sitting here waiting to be listed for over a week. So I've just done my best, and will adjust them later.
So, you can now buy my dragonscale weave bracelets! Plus, get a 10% discount if you also buy a dragonscale pendant.

I've been so distracted lately I've not done any chainmaille, and I'd forgotten about my Saturday Showcase posts. So, a week and and a day late... Japanese Weave.
Japanese weave can be quite a pain to make, but is a very striking weave with a lot of versatility. You can also see the way that warfare techniques informed weave designs, as Japanese's wide flat rings are well suited against the slashing attacks they commonly faced.
That's the pink one done and a green one well under way. I'm waiting on more rings so I can finish the matching pendants, but they'll be hitting my store soon.
For today's Saturday Showcase: bead capture.
Using the same technique from the D20 cage I shared recently, you can create a string of captured beads, making for a really eye-catching look with tons of options between ring colours and bead materials.
I'm still working on finding beads with a sufficiently narrow size margin (get the size wrong and the beads will fall out) so I'm not making any for my store yet, but they'll be landing eventually.
After a week of feeling crappy I'm finally back to weaving! Working on my favourite weave (though, I admit it's a pain to make), dragon scale.
I don't like April Fools. Sure I'm no fun, but I just find it frustrating (and very NT-centric.)
So when I say I'm offering 20% off on everything today, I mean it.

New product finished, coming to my store this week: fidget sheets! A lovely texture and clinky sound (that will be audible in a later video once my wife is off her video calls).
Made using European 4-in-1.
Just for my personal collection right now, as I'm not super happy with the quality of the watch face, but I'm definitely gonna want to get these added to my store: vipera berrus watches!
For today's Saturday Showcase: Dragon Scale.
When I was first getting into chainmaille I saw this weave as the "I'll never be that good" weave. When I finally tried it, Dragon Scale turned out to actually be quite easy to make. But damn it looks good
Now that I've got the recipe down, it's time to start making fidget cubes in earnest! Making a silver one to match the gold one, and more rings will be on the way soon. Coming to my store soon!
Crazy busy today, so in place of anything new, here's an old piece I made:
I made this to wear to my SiL's wedding. One of the great things about chainmaille is I can make jewellery to match my outfit! (Sadly, it's not visible in the photo, but I'm including a pic of me from the wedding anyway.)
The weave is a European 4-in-1, with a band of smaller link rings to tidy the edges. The blue rings are 16 SWG 1/4", the silver is 18 SWG 5/32".
Currently working on a piece in my new favourite weave, Vipera Berus (Adder) weave. This one is a dream to speed-weave and has a very different texture to the usual rounded weaves.
Will be ready to add to the store soon.
One of the reasons I like chainmaille as a craft is that while my fibromyalgia often leave me sofa-bound, chainmaille requires very little space: all I need is my pliers, jump rings, and a lap tray (complete with a custom play mat from deep cut studios.) So while I'm not up to doing anything else, I can work on my latest piece while watching a movie... Usually horror, currently the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street.
