Marco Tietz<p>Progress. I remember being excited about the 10MB card. 'Wow, the space of 8 floppy disks in such a small size, amazing'. :) </p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/compactflash" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>compactflash</span></a> <br><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/microsd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>microsd</span></a></p>
Amin Girasol<p>I've not been having much success with CF to IDE adapters in my gorgeous <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/IBM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>IBM</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Thinkpad760CD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Thinkpad760CD</span></a>, so I'm hoping this <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/mSATA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mSATA</span></a> to <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/IDE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>IDE</span></a> adapter will do the job. Though it seems to be impossible to find mSATA SSDs in sizes smaller than 64GB.</p><p><a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/CompactFlash" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CompactFlash</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/IntegratedDriveElectronics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>IntegratedDriveElectronics</span></a></p>

Flamekebab<p>Any UK people got any old large <a href="https://toot.wales/tags/CompactFlash" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CompactFlash</span></a> cards they'd like to give a new home to? I have an old field recorder that takes them and it seems like the sort of format people might have in a junk drawer. My card is 1 GB so anything bigger than that would be an improvement!</p><p>(I'm using it to digitise old tapes and at the moment I'm having to clear the card each time I flip the tape!)</p>
