Sociedad NoticiasEl Balcón de la Sociedad | Educación Física sin dirección ni destinoLa Educación Física en Veracruz atraviesa una crisis silenciosa, profunda y desatendida. A casi tres meses del nombramiento de Froylan Alessí Mejía Ávila, como director estatal del área, el malestar crece entre docentes, inspectores y supervisores que no encuentran en su nuevo titular el perfil ni la vocación requeridos para el cargo.La falta de experiencia del joven funcionario ha generado desconfianza desde su arribo. Su formación en Derecho, sin antecedentes en el campo educativo y mucho menos en el ámbito físico-deportivo, ha dejado en evidencia su desconocimiento de procesos, normas y dinámicas institucionales.El pasado 13 de febrero convocó a una reunión con inspectores y supervisores del estado. En dicho encuentro presentó, sin claridad ni sustento operativo, una supuesta reestructura orgánica y avances de la guía operativa, cuando el ciclo escolar 2024–2025 se encuentra ya en su etapa final.Más allá de lo extemporáneo de la propuesta, lo que molestó al gremio fue la forma distante en la que conduce su gestión. A diferencia de sus predecesores, Alessi prefiere el trato remoto, a través de plataformas digitales o de sus asesores, sin dar lugar al diálogo directo con los actores clave del sistema.Una oficina cerrada con candadosLa queja más recurrente entre los trabajadores es su inaccesibilidad. Para hablar con él hay que superar al menos tres filtros, y quienes han intentado hacerlo describen la experiencia como una odisea burocrática. La agenda de citas permanece cerrada y el silencio institucional se ha vuelto norma.Durante la reunión de febrero, causó risa su afirmación de que los canales de comunicación “están disponibles”, pero solo para temas como comunicación social, enlace de género y protección civil. La educación física, que debería ser su prioridad, quedó fuera de los asuntos atendibles.Esta actitud contrasta con su visible disposición para acompañar en giras de fin de semana a su amiga, la diputada local Valeria Moctezuma, nieta de la actual secretaria de Educación de Veracruz. En los recorridos proselitistas sí ha estado presente, enfundado en chaleco guinda, siempre cercano al micrófono.La Dirección de Educación Física no cuenta con dirección ni con liderazgo. Y los temas sensibles, como la inclusión, la salud infantil, la prevención de la obesidad o el desarrollo físico integral del estudiantado, siguen sin atención ni propuestas serias.Un torneo improvisado, una alerta encendidaA finales de marzo, Alessi lanzó una convocatoria apresurada para organizar el “Torneo Nacional de Futbol Escolar FMF”. A pesar de que la iniciativa provino de la FIFA y la FEMEXFUT, la coordinación del evento recayó en su Dirección, sin recursos, sin planeación y sin consulta previa.Supervisores de diversas regiones rechazaron participar. El calendario escolar ya contempla múltiples actividades entre abril y junio, y no es viable incorporar competencias sabatinas, menos aún sin entrenamientos previos ni cobertura legal en caso de incidentes.El riesgo de exponer a los niños a lesiones o accidentes por una ocurrencia improvisada ha sido subrayado por más de un inspector. Se trata, además, de un evento que contradice los principios de la Nueva Escuela Mexicana, que propugna por la inclusión y no por la competencia.La decisión de organizar un torneo de esta magnitud sin sustento, en días no laborables, sin seguridad para los participantes ni apoyo para los docentes, ha puesto en evidencia la falta de planificación y el desconocimiento legal del propio director, quien debería conocer los límites administrativos.De trampolín político a tierra de nadieVarios informes coinciden en que Alessi ha expresado su interés por buscar una sindicatura. Su paso por la Dirección de Educación Física responde más a una ambición política que a un compromiso con la educación o el bienestar infantil. La función pública, en su caso, parece una estación de paso.Los antecedentes de su equipo no lo favorecen. Su subdirector de supervisión escolar también es abogado. Y la jefatura técnico-pedagógica está a cargo de una licenciada en Educación Especial, sin perfil específico en educación física. No se trata de un asunto menor, sino de una omisión institucional grave.El descontento se ha extendido. En redes y en «radio pasillo» se menciona con ironía que es más fácil hablar con él durante los recorridos proselitistas que en su propia oficina. La Dirección, dicen, “va sin dirección”, cerrada con candado y sin voluntad de diálogo.Las consecuencias de esta conducción improvisada ya son visibles. El gremio se ha comenzado a fragmentar, las decisiones se toman de forma vertical y sin consenso, y los programas no obedecen a ninguna lógica pedagógica, sino al capricho del funcionario en turno.¿Qué tanto importa la Educación Física?La pregunta es legítima. ¿Qué tanto le importa a las autoridades la Educación Física? Si el nombramiento de un perfil ajeno, la exclusión de los expertos y la imposición de políticas erráticas no generan respuestas, la respuesta se infiere sola: no les importa nada.Hoy, la salud física y emocional de los estudiantes está en manos de personas sin vocación ni experiencia. Mientras la obesidad infantil crece y la actividad física disminuye, se pierden oportunidades valiosas para incidir desde las escuelas en una mejor calidad de vida.Designar a perfiles inexpertos por lealtades políticas es una práctica peligrosa. Poner la conducción de una dirección estratégica en manos de un improvisado puede salir caro, no solo en términos operativos, sino también electorales, como ya se comienza a percibir en la comunidad educativa.El caso Froylán Alessi revela una realidad alarmante: la Educación Física ha sido convertida en un espacio de simulación. Y mientras el titular busca posicionarse políticamente, miles de estudiantes pierden el acceso a una formación física digna, inclusiva y segura. ¿Hasta cuándo se tomará en serio la Educación Física en Veracruz? ¿Hasta cuándo dejarán de usar las instituciones como plataforma personal?
