Still alive. Still stitching. I'm finally on the second-to-last step on this project, but the last two steps involve making cording and then you only get half the length to stitch with until it's time to make cording again. I thought the single strand gold accents were slow, but I was wrong. This is much slower. 😂 I will finish someday. #crossstitch

And the colours aren't exact, partially because it's hard to judge colours in stage lighting and partially because I found evidence of at least two different shades of Axel's pants.

Hurrah, progress!

Finished the second part and made a decent dent in the third part of the SAL. I can start the border tomorrow, or maybe crack on with the other 2.5 hexagons to be done.

#WIPWednesday, and all I have to show for it is a new splodge of mostly dark blue along the bottom here. Haven't had a single second to do any knitting or any other crafts this week so far, ack!

Today marks the third Wednesday in a row of failing to put a video out, despite staying up until half two in the morning to try and finish it. So this week I put my task list into one of those auto scheduling apps hoping it might have some answers...

...it turns out I have like 20 hours more work to do in my week than there is literal time, so...er...no wonder I'm stressed. Whoops. Time for a rethink 😅

The Silence - Doctor Who

Yeaaahh, j'ai finis! (Il était temps!)
Contente du résultat, ce qui est rare parce que je me lasse facilement de ce que je fais moi-même!

J'aime beaucoup les épisodes avec eux, et comme je me suis arrêté à la fin de la première saison de Whitaker, je suppose que j'en ai loupée! (Mais trop de spoils, j'arrive plus à regarder à cause de ça! ^^').

Sa tête est allongée avec le crâne assez gros. Ses orbites sont très creuses et larges mais il a des yeux de tailles humaines. Il n'a pas de nez, plutôt une cavité, et pas de bouche non plus. Il est donc habillé avec ce qui ressemble à un costard, avec petite chemise blanche dont le col dépasse, parce que la série est anglaise donc l'élégance est de mise, vous comprenez! Le point de croix ne représente que la tête et le haut des épaules. Le fond est blanc.

Almost forgot to post my final #24hocs update from this weekend. I mean, imagine! 😱

So. 24 hours got me 1909 stitches, which is pretty tragic but this pattern is very bitty. Half of the A and a good start on the M, after over three years of zero progress I will take it!

We had quite a few 24h finishers, others who achieved their own smaller goals, and as ever a group of rebels doing 24 hours of...

This pic kind of hurts to look at, so imagine stitching on it all weekend and feel my pain 😅

In progress cross stitch project on extremely royal blue fabric. It's spelling the word "gamer" in capitals, except only the G, A and a chunk of the first leg of the M are complete. Each letter is a collage of game characters through the ages, although without backstitching it currently just looks like a random jumble of colours in parts.
