It's not enough to primary him when his term is up in... 4 years? 2029 would be when he runs again? Providing he doesn't just step down due to age?

What I'm saying is, waiting to primary him will be too late. He is dealing with a task that he is not equipped for. He is not the man for the moment. He needs to resign.

We are past the point of reaching across the aisle and we have been for 8 years at least. The Tea Party Republicans were nuts, the Alt Right were worse, and the MAGA Republicans make the Tea Party Republicans look like good people.

We cannot fight MAGA Madness with "business as usual."

If the Canadians can rally behind their politicians when they start putting retaliatory tariffs on American goods instead of opting for the most harm reductionionist path possible, then Americans can rally behind a Democratic Party that will risk a shutdown to stand up for the American people.

Trump, Musk, and the MAGAts are already doing everything in their power to strip people of their rights, to remove funding that would help people, and to fire people in important jobs. The government is not functioning and a shut down would not change that.

This is not a lose lose situation. The situation is already lost. The time for harm reductionism is over.

The Republicans in all their iterations showed that they were willing to fight for what they wanted. They showed that they were willing to do whatever it was they thought they needed. They were willing to play long games that were full of threats and coercion along the way.

"Reaching across the aisle" and "business as usual" does not work when you're reaching across the aisle with fascists.

Chuck, and honestly the Establishment Dems in general, have been nothing but one massive failure. They are collaborators at this point. Regardless of what they say, if they are unwilling to act, then they are fascists.
