Human 3500<p>How different is the US today from Persia / Iran back when it was Persia? </p><p>Persia was an advanced society (e.g. women had rights) and then the US put the Shah into power and things made a sharp turn.</p><p>The US seems to be headed down that same path.</p><p>Maybe in 30 or 40 (or 5), the US will catch up with the Iran of today instead of the Germany in 1955.</p><p>So, focusing on a trade deal with the US isn't the right approach.
