My husband just marched off to Home Depot with an actively chirping smoke/carbon monoxide detector and its receipt.

It's supposed to last 10 years. This one is our third and it lasted 6 months.

It chirps every minute.

I sent a letter to the president of #USAA today. The first draft of the letter started, "What kind of clown show are you running over there?" but, probably wisely, I removed that sentence from the final letter.

Garmin customer service: I have no idea why order was cancelled, but I'll send a message to order fulfillment asking them not to do that again, and you can try placing a new order
Me: places the order again
Are they going to fulfill the order this time?

Their rudeness and total lies were a disaster for me, despite my trying for a month to ensure everything was on track. I could easily win a lawsuit for breach of contract but I want nothing to do with them ever again
