Some people are spreading misinformation and lies about Element and Matrix. This is the factual response from Element.

The Matrix.org Foundation has published an article too, Dispelling myths and misinformation, matrix.org/blog/2025/06/dispel.

I don’t know why people are doing this. The lies are so big & obvious, it’s… I’m disappointed.
