AnarchoNinaAnalyzes<p>I'd like to start by revisiting an important story from last week, because I think it directly exemplifies both the vast expansion of the fascist panopticon occurring under Trump and his Gestapo, as well as the way this project is being washed through a still frightfully racist public consciousness, under the guise of "immigration policy" and the ethnic cleansing project in America. </p><p>As originally reported by the Associated Press, the Trump-controlled Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services are now sharing the personal data of every single person enrolled on Medicaid, with ICE. This decision thus gives a fascist secret police force loyal only to Trump and his executive branch, access to a trove of highly personal data from a staggering seventy-nine million Americans. That last part is important too, because while the Trumpenreich is insisting the purpose of this data sharing is to help the Gestapo root out migrants all over the country, the reality is that undocumented people in the US don't have access to Medicaid. </p><p>Let's look at this Common Dreams post from July 17th, and then talk about why I don't think this is any sort of "mistake" on the fascist Trumpenreich's part at all. </p><p><a href="https://www.commondreams.org/news/weaponization-of-data-trump-admin-gives-ice-personal-info-of-79-million-medicaid-recipients" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">commondreams.org/news/weaponiz</span><span class="invisible">ation-of-data-trump-admin-gives-ice-personal-info-of-79-million-medicaid-recipients</span></a></p><p>'Weaponization of Data': Trump Admin Gives ICE Personal Info of 79 Million Medicaid Recipients</p><p>"But under Monday's agreement, the AP says, the Department of Homeland Security "will use the data to identify, for deportation purposes, people who [are] in the country illegally."</p><p>However, nearly everyone enrolled in Medicaid is either an American citizen or other legal resident.</p><p>Given that the president has made very clear his intent to begin denaturalizing and deporting American citizens, the handing of tens of millions of people's sensitive information to ICE is causing widespread alarm.</p><p>"Trump is letting ICE track Americans using their personal and private Medicaid health data. Undocumented immigrants aren't eligible to receive Medicaid, but other people they want to target and track are," said Melanie D'Arrigo, the executive director of the the Campaign for New York Health. "They're not going to stop at immigrants."</p><p>It doesn't take a genius to figure out a fascist government collecting personally-identifying data from healthcare program only American citizens are eligible for, isn't doing so for the purpose of targeting undocumented migrants. Despite nativist conspiracies about "illegal aliens stealing our healthcare" (a laughable concept given the state of American "healthcare"), Medicaid fraud by undocumented migrants its virtually nonexistent; and six months into Trump's *second* presidency, I'm quite certain the President and all of his nazi minions in the executive branch know that. So Trump is giving the Gestapo this data, including "names, addresses, birth dates, ethnic and racial information, as well as Social Security numbers" to target Americans. </p><p>What type of Americans? Given that the regime and its fascist propaganda minions in the discourse are now arguing for their right to denaturalize American citizens born in other countries, I think you can bet on the nazis starting with naturalized immigrants in general. Particularly nonwhite immigrants, since this is an ethnonationalist project to whiten US demographics by force, even if nobody wants to admit it. </p><p>As I've discussed in a recent article however, the methods by which the Trump regime is weaponizing America's vague and robust anti-terrorism laws to persecute anyone who opposes the fascist agenda, points towards a much broader program of creating stateless people out of the regime's enemies, regardless of where they happen to have been born. In other words, whatever the Gestapo is doing with the data Trump gave them today, does not preclude the Trumpenreich's secret police from using that data to target anyone the nazis want to find at a later date. Medicaid is now officially spying on you for the nazis, whether they have an official reason to want your data, or not.</p><p>I cannot stress enough the degree to which this really isn't a discussion about privacy rights and potential authoritarian outcomes anymore. The Trumpenreich is an openly fascist regime, that through its allies at the top of the American judiciary, is rapidly transforming the United States into an executive branch dictatorship with theocratic characteristics. We don't have to ask hypotheticals about whether or not this government and its Gestapo will use our data to target Trump's political enemies; both Project 2025 and the regime's actions make it clear they are already doing so. The integration of the panopticon, with his loyal Gestapo is a necessary precursor to ruling as a fascist dictator under a perpetual state of martial law. It would be foolish to pretend at this late an hour, the regime has any other purposes for the actions they're undertaking now.</p><p><a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/Fascism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Fascism</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/Trump" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Trump</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/ICE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ICE</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/DHS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DHS</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/Gestapo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Gestapo</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/PoliceState" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PoliceState</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/MartialLaw" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MartialLaw</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/Medicaid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Medicaid</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/Panopticon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Panopticon</span></a> <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/MassSurveillance" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MassSurveillance</span></a></p>

#BorderPatrol Wants Advanced #AI to #Spy on American Cities

A U.S. Border Patrol “Industry Day” deck also asks for #drones, seismic sensors, and tech that can see through walls.

by Sam Biddle
July 23 2025

Excerpt: "U.S. Customs and Border Protection, flush with billions in new funding, is seeking 'advanced AI' technologies to surveil urban residential areas, increasingly sophisticated #autonomous systems, and even the ability to see through walls.

"A CBP presentation for an 'Industry Day' summit with private sector vendors, obtained by The Intercept, lays out a detailed wish list of tech CBP hopes to purchase, like satellite connectivity for #SurveillanceTowers along the #border and improved radio communications. But it also shows that state-of-the-art, AI-augmented surveillance technologies will be central to the Trump administration’s #AntiImmigrant campaign, which will extend deep into the interior of the North American continent, hundreds of miles from international borders as commonly understood.

"The recent passage of Trump’s sprawling flagship legislation funnels tens of billions of dollars to the #DepartmentOfHomelandSecurity. While much of that funding will go to Immigration and Customs Enforcement to bolster the administration’s arrest and deportation operations, a great deal is earmarked to purchase new technology and equipment for federal offices tasked with preventing immigrants from arriving in the first place: Customs and Border Protection, which administers the country’s border surveillance apparatus, and its subsidiary, the U.S. Border Patrol.

"One page of the presentation, describing the wishlist of Border Patrol’s Law Enforcement Operations Division, says the agency needs '#AdvancedAI to identify and track suspicious activity in urban environment [sic],' citing the 'challenges' posed by 'Dense residential areas.' What’s considered '#SuspiciousActivity' is left unmentioned.
Customs and Border Protection did not respond to questions posed about the slides by The Intercept."

I wrote a little bit about why I don't like the way Gestapo leaders are talking about Democrat-controlled sanctuary cities in the wake of the random shooting of an off-duty Gestapo goon in New York during a botched robbery that had nothing to do with immigration enforcement. The playbook being run here smells a lot like the Invasion of LA to me.

Nina-Bytes: A License to Occupy

"What’s important here is that Tom Homan, who has never won an election in New York and has no authority over its public safety policies whatsoever, is asserting an executive branch right that does not exist, to take over policing in the city because of a lack of cooperation from local authorities. And by “cooperation”, the Border Czar means letting him use local police and government agencies to conduct the regime’s fascist mass deportation raids. This argument actually has nothing to do with the shooting at all, Homan is just dressing his pre-existing intentions up in a bloody shirt and rhetoric about securing public safety because one of his boys caught a stray in a random criminal incident that could have happened anywhere in America, but happened to occur in New York."

As I've noted in multiple articles, a significant portion of the Trump regime's fascist police state maneuvers basically amount to the Swine Emperor's attempts to recruit and control an army: particularly inside what the regime sees as "enemy controlled territory" in blue states and especially Democrat-run sanctuary cities. While Trump has been partially successful on that front by deploying National Guard units, and passing a budget bill that will vastly increase the size of the Gestapo, the Trumpenreich's attempts to recruit and subvert localized American police forces to the President's will, remain the centerpiece of these efforts. As we recently discussed, these police forces serve a vital role as a "force multiplier" for militarized Gestapo operations inside cities and neighborhoods deemed hostile to the Trump agenda, and a regime clearly rocketing towards a perpetual state of (fake) emergency-fueled martial law probably can't get where it wants to go, without that local police buy-in.

In that vein then, I'd like to take a look at this July 10th article by Dell Cameron, about some threat bulletins issued by Kristi Noem's DHS, to local law enforcement agencies around the country, in response to mainstream liberal organization of the popular "No Kings" protests; which as it turns out, where predictably entirely peaceful. I'll be honest with you however, I don't think Noem gives a fuck because the contents of the bulletins themselves make it clear that the Gestapo wants to use local law enforcement to persecute protestors, journalists, and even folks simply opposed to a fascist ethnic cleansing project in process.

wired.com/story/dhs-tells-poli (archived: archive.ph/Yclqv)

DHS Tells Police That Common Protest Activities Are ‘Violent Tactics’

"At the same time, the guidance urges officers to consider a range of nonviolent behavior and common protest gear—like masks, flashlights, and cameras—as potential precursors to violence, telling officers to prepare “from the point of view of an adversary.”

Protesters on bicycles, skateboards, or even “on foot” are framed as potential “scouts” conducting reconnaissance or searching for “items to be used as weapons.” Livestreaming is listed alongside “doxxing” as a “tactic” for “threatening” police. Online posters are cast as ideological recruiters—or as participants in “surveillance sharing.”

One list of “violent tactics” shared by the Los Angeles–based Joint Regional Intelligence Center—part of a post-9/11 fusion network—includes both protesters’ attempts to avoid identification and efforts to identify police. The memo also alleges that face recognition, normally a tool of law enforcement, was used against officers.

Vera Eidelman, a senior staff attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union, says the government has no business treating constitutionally protected activities—like observing or documenting police—as threats."

If you've been reading my analysis for the last little while, you should recognize some familiar patterns in the regime's propaganda here. Painting resistance to the mass deportation program as inherently criminal, the DHS threat warning conjures up a picture of a coordinated, media driven conspiracy to turn Americans against the agency; rather than resistance being an obvious consequence of the Gestpo's blatantly fascist, and often entirely illegal activities on the streets of America. The real purpose of the threat memo becomes clear however when you realize what the Gestapo is advising police to look out for and protect them from, which very obviously includes protestors, observers filming Gestapo activities, and literally people posting online about this fascist bullshit.

“The DHS report repeatedly conflates basic protest, organizing, and journalism with terroristic violence, thereby justifying ever more authoritarian measures by law enforcement,” says Ryan Shapiro, executive director of Property of the People. “It should be sobering, if unsurprising, that the Trump regime’s response to mass criticism of its police state tactics is to escalate those tactics.”

Now, a sensible person who'd been in a comma for the past quarter century might be tempted to think trying to recruit local law enforcement to brutalize anti-ethnic cleansing protestors would be illegal, or at least beyond the scope of Homeland Security's powers. Sadly, as the article notes, you would be wrong - thanks primarily to the absurd amount of authority the entire counterterrorism apparatus of the American state was granted after 9/11. Which is why it should probably concern you when DHS, the centerpiece of that apparatus starts telling cops that protestors, journalists, and social media users are basically terrorists and a threat to the survival of the state. Particularly when we know Trump is trying to transform those same police into a fascist army under his control.

In writing about the Invasion of LA by a combination of federal forces under executive branch control, I've talked a lot about the clear signals from the fascist Trump regime that this invasion serves as a blueprint for how the Pork Reich intends to enforce the will of a would-be dictator on parts of the country that don't support the Swine Emperor or his fascist agenda. This has then been followed by ominous attempts by Trump's Gestapo propagandists to portray Democrat-run "sanctuary cities" as lawless hellscapes where the local authorities are working with one form of criminal actor or another to threaten the lives of hard-working Gestapo thugs and or subvert the (dubious at best) constitutional authority of the President. It certainly doesn't take a genius detective to put two and two together here and realize that the Trump regime is planning on using opposition to the administration's ethnonationalist mass deportation program as a pretext to justify federal occupation of some of the largest, and bluest, cities in America.

With the groundwork for these types of invasions already laid in court after the invasion of LA, and in the public mind due to recent propaganda, all these nazis are waiting for is an inciting incident to justify unleashing the hounds on their political enemies and the cities they live in. Unfortunately, if a pair of statements by Trump's Border Czar Tom Homan, and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem are any indication, the regime might have found the excuse it was looking for in a clearly random shooting of a Gestapo goon in New York.

theguardian.com/us-news/2025/j

Trump’s border czar to target sanctuary cities in US: ‘We’re gonna flood the zone’

"Tom Homan, Donald Trump’s hardline border czar, vowed to “flood the zone” with Immigration, Customs and Enforcement (Ice) agents in an all-out bid to overcome the lack of cooperation he said the government faced from Democrat-run municipalities in its quest to arrest and detain undocumented people."

This article spends a lot of time going over the details of the shooting, but I don't really care about that and neither should you. The idea that some Gestapo freak creeping around in a park and getting robbed by two people who happen to be migrants with a criminal record, means the feds are totally justified in literally invading New York or any other major metropolitan area in the United States is patently fucking bonkers fascist propaganda and I refuse to give it any more attention than I have to.

What's important here is that Homan, who absolutely was not elected to run New York City, is asserting an executive branch right that does not exist, to take over policing in the city because of a lack of cooperation from local authorities. He's just dressing it up in a bloody shirt and arguments about securing public safety because one of his boys caught a stray in a random criminal incident that could have happened anywhere in America, but happened to occur in New York. If all of that doesn't sound a lot like the excuses Trump and Stephen Miller gave for doing precisely the same thing to Los Angeles to you, then you have not been paying attention.

Perhaps more ominously still, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem also seized on this incident (which again spawned out of an attempted robbery) to argue that other large, Democrat-run, sanctuary cities like Boston, LA, and Chicago are also unsafe, crime-infested outposts of lawlessness; presumably due to their existence as sanctuary cities.

“We look at Mayor [Michelle] Wu in Boston and what has happened there under her watch,” she said. “What’s happened in LA with the riots and the violence and the protest that have gone on because of Mayor [Karen] Bass and what she has perpetuated.

“When you look at Mayor [Brandon] Johnson in Chicago, and how devastating it is to live in that city and some of those poorest communities, how they suffer every single day with the violence that’s in front of them. Just because these individuals are protecting criminals.”

I think it's important to take note of what Noem (and Homan before her) is doing here because she might be dumber than a rock, but her words are spoken with subtle intention in this case. Noem is directly tying named Democrat leaders, to an imaginary violent crime wave being exemplified by a random shooting in a completely different city, which is then repackaged as evidence that sanctuary city policies are the cause of a problem that does not actually exist.

When you combine Noem's argument that these Democrat-run governments are intentionally aiding "the criminals," with Homan's argument that if NYC can't protect the Gestapo from even random criminal encounters the feds have a right to "flood the zone" with militarized goons loyal only to Trump and executive branch, you're looking at the manufacture of consent for war on Democrat-run cities with significant immigrant or nonwhite populations.

"The federal government is trying to use Medicaid data to identify and deport immigrants. So EFF and our friends at EPIC and the Protect Democracy Project have filed an amicus brief asking a judge to block this dangerous violation of federal data privacy laws.

Last month, the AP reported that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) had disclosed to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) a vast trove of sensitive data obtained from states about people who obtain government-assisted health care. Medicaid is a federal program that funds health insurance for low-income people; it is partially funded and primarily managed by states. Some states, using their own funds, allow enrollment by non-citizens. HHS reportedly disclosed to DHS the Medicaid enrollee data from several of these states, including enrollee names, addresses, immigration status, and claims for health coverage.

In response, California and 19 other states sued HHS and DHS. The states allege, among other things, that these federal agencies violated (1) the data disclosure limits in the Social Security Act, the Privacy Act, and HIPAA, and (2) the notice-and-comment requirements for rulemaking under the Administrative Procedure Act (APA)."
