🧿🪬🍄🌈🎮💻🚲🥓🎃💀🏴🛻🇺🇸<p>I just discovered that <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Flycast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Flycast</span></a> can emulate the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Dreamcast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Dreamcast</span></a> microphone so I can play <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Seaman" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Seaman</span></a>, and I am **over the moon** happy!! I haven't played this game since I was a teenager!</p><p>It can also emulate the Samba De Amigo maracas--kinda awkward with a controller, but maybe there're USB or Bluetooth controllers that work better?</p><p>I need to try connecting a mouse and keyboard too. Maybe typing of the dead works? </p><p>Oh, and the rumble pack works, and you can have it display the VMU screen!! 🤩</p>

Can't find windows binaries for cdi2iso anymore..</p><p>After a dozen dead ends, and nearly using up all my o3 queries I've decided to cut bait, and just leave the .cdi files uncompressed. Crusty old CD burner formats are still painful!</p><p>Funny thing is I *know* I used cdi2iso back when I owned a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Dreamcast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Dreamcast</span></a> to burn boot disks on my iMac.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/retrogaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retrogaming</span></a></p>

🧿🪬🍄🌈🎮💻🚲🥓🎃💀🏴🛻🇺🇸<p>I'm lucky to have <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ChatGPT" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ChatGPT</span></a> for this; it found the issue with redumped CHDs, then found a node script that can convert my bin+cues to .gdi, then it wrote me a .bat that can loop through all my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Dreamcast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Dreamcast</span></a> ROMs and convert each one to a .gdi file with a unique name. If I had ever figured that out on my own it would have taken days of work!</p>
🧿🪬🍄🌈🎮💻🚲🥓🎃💀🏴🛻🇺🇸<p>I bought the RP5 because my Anbernic RG Arc isn't powerful enough for <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Dreamcast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Dreamcast</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GameCube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameCube</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/PSP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PSP</span></a>, but I can't really fit all the games I want for those systems on my 512GB sdCard so I bought a 1tb one. That ought to be big enough to fit all the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/PS1" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PS1</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/N64" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>N64</span></a> games too! I might throw my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SegaSaturn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SegaSaturn</span></a> games on there too just to be a completionist.</p>
