Fancy photos later (especially once I figure out how to deal with the shiny front panel) but my @desertbus Craftalong project is done! I did the final soldering yesterday night, so now it's all purty and shiny. Hooray!

AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!
So much plot this volume. They find the red dragon, they free Falin, something is clearly up with her, we learn that the mad wizard who created the dungeon is probably an elf, and the last panel.
Oh my goodness. So well done.
Oh, and also, more monsters being eaten. Amazing!

Okay, the inner insert is basically done and epoxied together. Next up, whenever I feel like it, is doing some very minor soldering of the loose LED wires on the backside.

My craft has been accepted for the 2025 #DesertBusCraftalong ! I'm honestly about 90-95% done already. Desert Bus Express was a huge help for that. 
Most of the minis are already glued and tacked down in this photo. I scuffed up my plexiglass front panel a bit too much, so I cut a new one. I'm down to basically soldering some LED wires together and epoxying everything into the frame insert!
New Read - Delicious in Dungeon, Volume 3
Fantastic volume. Met a kraken. Also, got more backstory on the party including a former member introduced. Which was fun.
Favorite moment - when they sewed giant poison frog hide together to help them get through some areas where there are poisonous flora.

It occurs to me I never shared the photos of Senshi, Izutsumi, and Falin. Here you go.
Also I double checked the pre-wired LEDs I have leftover from last year work, and I started painting some set dressing.

Okay, this is as far as I'm getting with the painting tonight. 
I might try to quickly do the LED wiring tomorrow morning, but I think I'm good for now.

Between US Memorial Day, Desert Bus Express, and needing a break from work, I'm taking a 5 day weekend. After a bit of resting, I got the plasticard and polymer clay out to finish door and window details.
