virtuosewA small herd of (very) small giraffes.. These sketches are still very variable, but that's ok. Daily (or near-daily, she says, just in case!) sketching isn't meant to create a finished piece. It's practice with the materials, practice at looking, practice at analysis. This one depicts Ninon de l'Enclos who had written the Marquis de Sévigné a letter, where she breaks off they romance. I have the idea to restart making drawings based on those love letters. Dorgaldir🇧🇪Just finished this ecoline painting of a dark purple rose, covered in raindrops. I love how the rich hues and fluid textures bring out the depth and mystery of the petals.
