#DOJ reaches deal with #Boeing to allow planemaker to avoid prosecution

DOJ said on Friday it has struck a deal in principle with Boeing to allow it to avoid prosecution in a #fraud case stemming from 2 #fatal 737 MAX #PlaneCrashes that killed 346 people.

The agreement allows Boeing to avoid being branded a #convicted #felon & is a blow to families who lost relatives in the crashes & had pressed prosecutors to take the US planemaker to trial.

According to a notice of civil claim filed in B.C. Supreme Court Wednesday, the Tesla driver fled the scene after either "racing with, or in the alternative travelling with, a Nissan Altima" that slammed into the truck in the southbound lanes of the east end of the Pattullo on Valentine's Day.... @Mjack In truth, I really do rather want to play #FATAL . Is it a terribly designed game with way too much detail for way too little payoff? Absolutely. Is the setting absolutely absurd? Is that exactly why it's a little bit intriguing? Yes.

Do a mash-up with #Myfarag and everything would be just that much more deliciously tuned for complete absurdity.
