Hotspur🏳️🌈🇺🇦<p>Musical Interlude: One of the artists I saw this past weekend at the Old Time Music Festival was Jamie Fox (one x), an Indigenous fiddler from Montana, who taught us all a bit about the Old Time Music tradition in Indigenous communities...I mean, they absorbed a lot from us musically as well. She identifies as Métis, meaning a mixture of European and Indigenous cultures and ancestry, although here in the US she's identified as a certain tribe by the government.</p><p>Anyway, here's a nice video where she introduces herself and performs a few pieces.
