Justiz in Gefahr Artikel von Peter Müller über die Bedrohung der Justiz durch extreme Parteien. Der Untertitel lautet: "Extreme Parteien könnten künftig mitreden bei der Wahl von Verfassungsrichtern. Denn im Bundestag braucht es sie für eine Zweidrittelmehrheit. Das sollte man ändern." Hauptpunkte: Populisten und Rechtsextreme verachten den Rechtsstaat, nutzen aber zugleich seine Strukturen für ihre Zwecke. Die AfD missbraucht ihre Sperrminorität, um neue Richter zu blockieren, bis Zugeständnisse bei der Besetzung von Landtagsposten gemacht werden. Auf Bundesebene fehlt den Parteien der Mitte die Zweidrittelmehrheit für Verfassungsrichterwahlen. Bei der nächsten Bundestagswahl könnte sich die Lage verschärfen, wenn die AfD an Stimmen gewinnt. Kernproblem: Ein Richter, den die AfD vorschlägt, ist ein Risiko für den Rechtsstaat. Hinsichtlich der Linken bestehen ähnliche Bedenken bezüglich Unvereinbarkeitsbeschlüssen und Verfassungsschutz-Beobachtung. Lösungsvorschlag: Das Bundesverfassungsgerichtsgesetz sollte geändert werden, um mit einfacher Mehrheit Richter wählen zu können, falls keine Zweidrittelmehrheit erreicht wird. Der Bundestag befindet sich in einer kritischen Lage - im November enden Amtszeiten mehrerer Richter. Ein neuer Bundestag muss auf einen Nachfolger verständigen. Autor: Peter Müller (CDU) war Ministerpräsident des Saarlandes und Richter am Bundesverfassungsgericht.

swad is the "Simple Web Authentication Daemon", your tiny, efficient and (almost) dependency-free solution to add #cookie + login #form #authentication to whatever your #reverse #proxy offers. It's written in pure #C, portable across #POSIX platforms. It's designed with #nginx' 'auth_request' in mind, example configurations are included.

This release brings a file-based credential checker in addition to the already existing one using #PAM. Also lots of improvements, see details in the release notes.
