Above the Waterfall Along the Riverbank
A few years ago in the winter we took a short hike out to a local, hidden waterfall buried deep in the woods. @StevenKennard took a beautiful photograph of the falls themselves which he has posted today, my favourite image I took was probably this one, of the ice at the edge of the river, just before the water plunges down over the rocks. The swirls of colour and light in the water and on the ice were nicely contrasted.

Aufgenommen mit einem Weitwinkelobjektiv aus der Froschperspektive an einem kalten Januartag am Inzlinger Kreuz im Landkreis Lörrach. Der Kontrast zwischen dem dunklen Holz und dem Reif in den Bäumen hat mich total begeistert.
