Usually there are marinas that sell diesel to boats, to run their engines.
Not always, though.

It would also cut off healthcare access for nearly half a million people in the central governorate.
Israel has imposed a ban on the entry of fuel into Gaza for months, severely crippling hospitals and essential services across the enclave.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital warns of imminent shutdown due to fuel shortage
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza has warned it could cease operations within hours as its fuel supplies have been completely exhausted, with no deliveries in recent days.
The hospital said the shutdown would put the lives of hundreds of patients at risk, especially children, premature babies, ICU and kidney patients, and others in critical care units.

Life on the Moon?
#Soil on #Moon might sustain life
Researchers from University of Hong Kong developed technology to extract #water from #lunar soil & use it to convert carbon dioxide into #oxygen & #chemical #fuel
The #research could “potentially open new doors for future deep space exploration” because it could mitigate the expensive costs needed to bring essential resources such as water to the Moon.
#Fuel blockade continues to worsen Gaza’s #water crisis
Gaza’s water crisis has intensified since Israel blocked nearly all fuel shipments into the enclave on March 2. With no fuel, desalination plants, wastewater treatment facilities and pumping stations have largely shut down.
Families, many of them with children, are spending hours each day under the scorching sun searching for a few litres of water just to survive.
Only 12 of more than 70 municipal wells remain operational.
Wrong. There's no time left. Every ounce of fossil fuel burned is harming current and future life, now and long into the future. WAKE UP! The REAL world is in trouble. Everyone is responsible. Change your life, reduce your carbon burn. If you care that is...
Eight United Nations agencies in Gaza say they may have to stop their operations in Gaza entirely without adequate fuel, as UNRWA said a seven-month-old infant died of malnutrition on Sunday.
Does Automatic Start/Stop Actually Improve #Fuel Economy?
Do they actually save drivers money on #gas, while helping keep the air clean? Like so many other things in life, it's a little more complicated than a simple "yes" or "no," but as our friends at Consumer Reports recently pointed out — depending on the kind of driving you do — there can be some significant benefits to using start/stop tech. In fact, some drivers may end up cutting fuel consumption by a full 25%.

Gaza faces water crisis as diesel fuel supplies blocked
A 70 percent drop in well production has been recorded due to Israel’s ban on diesel fuel supplies.
No fuel has reached Gaza’s wells since Israel resumed attacks in March.
If fuel is not allowed in soon, people in Gaza will face a disaster.
Israel also continues to block water supplies to the central governorate and has reduced access in Gaza City and Khan Younis.
Gaza water crisis at breaking point
“Fuel is not just a logistics issue – it’s a lifeline.”
“Without it, water cannot be supplied, sewage cannot be managed, and families are left in increasingly dangerous conditions, unable to meet their basic needs.”
