In answer to your question, @Greengordon, Judge Susan Crawford ran a better campaign than Kamala Harris, and made fewer mistakes than Kamala Harris. This led the good Judge to win.
Biden told Kamala Harris that he wants her positions on issues to be the same as Biden's positions. She stupidly followed his advice. Voters opposed to genocide were put into a bad position by her and many of them refused to vote for her. Then Kamala Harris lost to Trump.
