Phosh<p>Dear distro maintainers and "i build my own stuff" people: </p><p>In case you want to check out 0.47 relesase upfront: we've tagged the first releases candidates (0.47~rc1) of <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/phosh" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>phosh</span></a> and related components 🎉 </p><p>Release is planned 2025-05-18 (<a href="https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/phosh/-/wikis/Releases" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p</span><span class="invisible">hosh/-/wikis/Releases</span></a>)</p><p>We've also tagged the companion releases for <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/gmobile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gmobile</span></a> 0.3.0 and <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/feedbackd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>feedbackd</span></a> 0.8.2 / feedbackd-device-themes 0.8.3 already.</p>
Phosh<p>In preparation for the upcoming phosh release we've released new versions of <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/gmobile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gmobile</span></a> 0.2.0 and <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/feedbackd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>feedbackd</span></a> 0.8.0. Feedbackd is now more flexible regarding haptic feedback for events so if e.g. feedback is too intrusive (or too weak) you can consider submitting adjustment for your device to <a href="https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/feedbackd-device-themes/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">source.puri.sm/Librem5/feedbac</span><span class="invisible">kd-device-themes/</span></a></p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/phosh" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>phosh</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/LinuxMobile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMobile</span></a></p>

Phosh<p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/gmobile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gmobile</span></a> 0.2.0 is out 🚀 . This version adds the udev rules and first hwdb entries to mark keys and buttons as not unblanking the screen on press (like volume rockers or menu/back capacitive buttons). </p><p>phoc 0.39.0 will make use of this. We moved things into a library rather than phoc itself so other compositors can make use of it too.</p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/phosh" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>phosh</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/gnomemobile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gnomemobile</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/udev" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>udev</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/LinuxMobile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMobile</span></a></p><p><a href="https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/gmobile/-/releases/v0.2.0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/g</span><span class="invisible">mobile/-/releases/v0.2.0</span></a></p>
