#request - does anyone know of any panel services that are affordable? I need some survey participants (200 would be lovely) and quick, because of [swear words while thinking of why]. I'm looking into #mechanicalturk but I don't know if I can get this to happen quickly enough; I have one week.

I need young adults, English speaking (native fluency). North American would be fine, but European is great, too. Maybe near East (e.g., India, Pakistan) if the language fluency is there. Region/nation is less important than the age range and the language ability.

I'd be paying for this out of pocket, and I don't have much money, so hoping I can find inexpensive services somewhere (<<$500 USD? Maybe closer to $200? realizing this might not be possible because I've never looked into this until now). Qualtrics has panels but they're far too expensive for me. I'm googling, but asking here first.

Something on #Mastodon seems to have changed recently.

When I expand posts with comments, I'm unable to see the replies without clicking a Mastodon link that takes me away from my Mastodon.social server.

If I click the link, a new tab/windrow opens. I can then see the replies. But I can't comment/reply myself--I'm prompted to log in to a Mastodon server where I have no account.

Am I missing something?

Needing things… 💸

As many of you know, I have a disability income. I got 70% of my last working income, and that's been adjusted every year with the new wages limits. It's decent enough, but with the costs rising of everything, and there not being an extra income of a partner, it can be challenging. Especially as I've been in a decent money situation for a few years, and money is the one thing I've always struggled with. My impulsive ADHD side has gotten me into some troubles at times... 😔 I've been trying to make ends meet. I've needed to ask for some help in the past, which always was hard for me to do. After reading the news about two kidney patients passing away due to the lack of medical supplies, I felt anxious. I don’t want to lose my father 😓 I don’t want to see him in pain or left without treatment just because the equipment is not available.

My father is in urgent need of treatment, & to complete his treatment outside Gaza. I’m doing everything I can, but what I can do alone is not enough.

Please, #help my Dad — he truly needs your support.
