in #1970s and #1980s #Britain, we had a kids #TV show called #Rainbow (made by #Thames #Television in #London) with 3 puppet characters (all gendered male) - not only would all 3 share a bed at the end of the night, but the #bear would put on pyjamas (so the rest of the day he was walking around completely naked other than his fur 
). Also George the #hippo was pink and had an obviously camp accent

I have a lot of trouble seeing well enough to make out what 99.9999999% of emojis are supposed to be, which is why anyone who reads my posts/responses will likely be vaguely aware that I tend to use a VERY limited range of them.

I’ve posted pictures of this bowl previously, but it’s been a while so I think it’s time for another one. I like how from this angle you can see that the hippos have been modelled separately and then added on to the rim of the bowl, so he looks like he’s clinging on to it!
The bowl is old even by the standards of Egyptian artifacts – it dates to what we call the Naqada I period which dates from roughly 4400-3500 BCE. Anything from several centuries to over a millennium before the beginning of what we recognise today as “Pharaonic Egypt”.

I sent an original painting to a collector. I didn't hear from her that she got it, so I asked her if she was satisfied. I was touched by her response. She said that she was waiting to open it for when she was having a bad day. She said my art always makes her feel good and it would "bring her happy back." I didn't see that coming. :)
