Local board protected us from getting rail-roaded where developers get green lights all the way. Three huge casinos planned for my 'hood: 41st/11th, Times Square, Hudson Yards. They promise huge cash flows ($2B!!!) but NY state's four existing casinos *from 2017 to 2022* brought in only $176M in tax revenues.

Ausblick vom #Amtrak Zug an den #HudsonYards nach oben. Danach geht es durch den #FreedomTunnel unter Manhattan durch, über die Spuyten Duyvil Bridge (immer wieder schön, was es für Namen in Amerika gibt) und an den Kawasaki Schienenfahrzeugwerken in #Yonkers vorbei.
