Conversion from ASCII-expressed string to Kanji/Kana strings by IME (until early 90's they were called FEP [Front End Processor], as they works between keyboard and application inputs) are still far from perfect (singificantly improved, though) and interrupts thinking, thus, ideas often disappears. Some IMEs introduced clowd servers to attempt conversions more precise, but currently it made the conversion slower.
