NickI've gone 30+ years without getting credit due to me with respect to the small areas from which I've contributed to some local efforts in my community. Some of our elders have stamped all over US. We are never good enough in their eyes because they think that we're all still kids.I'm prepared to go another 30 years and not get diddly-squat for the <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/ingenious" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ingenious</a> ideas which I've come up with -- both practical (code contributions) and theoretical (pitched ideas).I know how writers do this. They keep writing, until they've written something that they like. The good ones do not give a f*** what the general public thinks of them. They only listen to their editors.I do not know how professional coders actually write code or get commercial AI to write code in this age of bullshit within US society. There's also the corporate hypocrisy that bubbles to the surface whenever people want something better and different. They do their best to keep us down.It must be hell to live in their world!

C.For my birthday, my partner surprised me with what I can only describe as a candy-go-round. [1] It has six compartments with push-button dispensers, and dispenses into a little removable tray.It is one of the most interesting and unexpected gifts I've ever received. I'll have to remember to post a picture of it once it's got something inside it.[1] Probably intended for holding various rices and pulses or similar, but that's boring.
