Buenas! Somos nuevas por aquí y queremos presentarnos. Somos un grupo de voluntarias que forma Asena Protectora, un colectivo antiespecista de rescate y cuidado de animales.

El colectivo tiene ya unos 5 años y estamos en Murcia, dónde gracias a casas de acogida, voluntarias y donaciones, rescatamos, cuidamos y reubicamos animales (ya sea adoptados o liberados) de cualquier especie.

Nos damos a conocer sobre todo por Instagram, dónde encontramos nuestra principal fuente de apoyo, tanto económico como de voluntarias. Pero es muy exigente, cambiante, nos absorve y nos obliga a una creación de contenido constante.

Creemos que nos sentiremos más cómodas en esta comunidad del fediverso. Por eso queremos empezar a estar presentes por aquí, pero de una forma más calmada. Para darnos a conocer y conectar con gente afín que crea en nuestro proyecto.

Os iremos actualizando sobre las cosas que hacemos y animales que tenemos. Muchas gracias por leernos

I'm a network design engineer that enjoys #nfl (Chicago Bears) Lord of The Rings, #marvel /DC, #starwars , epic fantasies/sci-fi (book and cinema), and video games (MMOS and RPGS with some FPS and Strategy). also enjoy having conversations about #science , society, #news, and #politics . And l love learning new things!

I also have a dog, Elroy, who is 13 and is full of character.

#intoduction seems to be in order. Hi I'm Ash, in my 30s, Autistic enby (they/them pronouns) who loves video games, ttrpgs, MTG, anime and honestly mostly the usual nerd stuff. On twitter was more of an RTer than a tweeter but idk I guess we'll see what happens over here.

I am helping to bring to the public's attention the abuse systemic in Massachusetts' DMH hospitals. I'm also passionately dedicated to starting a charity that helps trans people get access to service dogs and make sure they are permitted to have them in psychiatric wards especially.

Hey this is my #intoduction

I'm Mic, 19, gay and I live in Germany.

Most of my free time I spend playing video games or watching sth on Netflix, Prime, Crunchyroll or whatever.

My preferred type of games are either all kinds of multiplayer games I play with friends, or RPGs and roguelikes if I play alone.

Other things I enjoy are art, music and cooking. The problem is, that I'm not that good in any of them, but I've planned to change that this year, at least the cooking part, when I move out of my parent's house in the second half of 2023.

Hope to meet some cool people on here!

Today's expansion of my #bio and #intoduction post:

I am a #tea addict.

Well, recovering tea addict, anyways.

I used to drink around 10 - 16 cups of tea a day.. and all this went south a coupe of years ago when I got a bad cough that didn't go away. I was sent to a respiratory specialist, who listened to my chest and said there's nothing wrong with my lungs.. then asked me if I drank coffee because it could be that I'm coughing due to irritation from gastric reflux caused by the caffeine.

I very boldly answered that it wasn't that, because I don't drink coffee, I drink tea! He asked how many cups a day, and when I told him he said that I was going to have to stop right away. Apparently that was Too Many Cups (I still think this sounds like a lie!)

So, now I rarely drink tea.. I'll have a cup every couple of months, and it makes me sad to not be able to have it more often.

The thing that I love most about tea, I think, is the ritual to making it.. and I'm someone who thrives off ritual.

There's a magic to tea making that brings about a calmness long before actually drinking the cup of tea you've made.

I have plans, at some point, to have a stack of tea cups tattooed on the top of one foot, and a tea pot tattooed on the top of the other.
