Yo, you can call me Muenster. I'm new here, and looking for community. I made it to my early 30s so far.
I'm a former liberal who was discontent with capitalism but didn't see an alternative to voting because I believed too hard in the USA's fucked up power structures. As of typing this, I'm only about 5 months into considering myself an anarchist in theory. So with that comes the warning that some of my opinions might be colored by that recent background; I am open to discussion and learning in an attempt to better myself.
I say anarchist in theory because I don't really believe anarchism is something you think, it's something you do. Praxis, I'm still working on figuring out and would love any tips on getting started ESPECIALLY in a rural area.
I'm kind of a doomer and prone to hopelessness. That ain't the vibe I want to maintain, and I'm trying to buck it. It's not helpful, it's not healthy, and it's not praxis. You see me being that way, slap me upside the head.
Personal interests include zines, electronics/soldering/circuit board design, new foods, new people, LGBTQIA+ rights, social justice and decolonization, music discovery, just to name a few.
Not sure what else to add other than I'm excited to get started on this type of platform. The algorithms over on bsky were just feeding me rage, so it'll be nice to curate my experience for a more healthy community interaction. Cheers!
