There is #invidious front end for youtube... and imginn.com front end for instagram (see stuff without login)... is there a big list of these front ends?

When I have a video on YouTube and I look it up on a #PeerTube instance, I wasn't able to find it there *ever*(!). I know that PeerTube—other than #Invidious and piped—is not a YouTube proxy and the video has to have been reuploaded to PeerTube. So far, so good—in theory.

But there's my problem:

Interestingly, #YouTube claims that showing content on how to #download or even #watch #videos hosted on their site as "#HarmfulContent"...

• And I'm not talking about 'bypassing paywalls' or 'circumventing age restrictions' but merely saying that '#YoutubeDLP got an #update' or 'a new #Invidious release came out.'

So not even encouraging "#crimes" like #piracy. (Which OFC they don't want to see on their platform!)

• Simply having #ytdlp being shown as one of many programs in the #Flatpak Repo of #LinuxMint is apparently sufficient to get a video yeeted off the platform.

Seriously, WTF!?

• Even #LinusTechTips and @geerlingguy ain't safe.

The apparent nonsense of 3D-Printer manufacturers forking slicers and firmware makes more sense once you consider patents.
If Bambu used Main-#Orcaslicer with the brick layers mode, which is patented, I bet they would be sued.
Whether dubious patents will be considered valid or not, there’s always profit even in the least plausible patent dispute. See #SCOLinux
(not apologizing Bambu’s ‘security’ shenanigans, they are toxic to me.)
