Sucks when none of the games “click”. I think Dragon Quest XI is fine, but it feels empty, I’m just going through the motions. Put back on Hundred Line demo some more then got back on Persona 3 Reload.

Defeated the Tentacular in #DragonQuestXI and I just experienced some incredible story-telling after all of that.
This game, this game is simply amazing
This book is so cool. 650 pages with amazing screen shots and descriptions of each game.

I have been playing through Eiyuden Chronicles the last few weeks. Lots of time during sick leave, and it's mentally not that demanding.
Which is also... I mean... it's basically a distillation of #jrpg tropes put onto the framework of Suikoden. There's a story you follow along no matter what, and you better believe you have to follow it. You win the big battle decisively? Doesn't matter, you still end on the run and cornered.
In all seriousness, why is everyone cross-eyed in this game?
Also. Gave the The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy demo a go. Very cool! Not sure if I’m ready juuuuust yet for a visual novel with strategy combat, but soon.
So I guess I’m finally giving Dragon Quest 11 a go. I’ve struggled with the “cartooniness” before, but it’s time to get over it. Let’s go!

I have completed the game.
Oh man, this was an awesome experience...
The combat, the gameplay, the boss fights, the MUSIC, everything in this game was fantastic!
