RachelCluster Rebuild Project: MiniLab Eddition The cluster is now entirely* running on the Minilab hardware. Down to 5 talos nodes. The entire stack including GPU node, and switch weighs in at about ~170W. That is measured from the wall and consists of: * 4x Odroid H4 Ultra with 32GB RAM, 2x 800GB SSD, 1x 256gb NVMe * 1x Intel Core Ultra 235 with 32GB RAM, 1x 256GB NVMe, Nvidia Tesla P4 * 1x CRS310-8G+2S+IN * 1x RB5009 ~50W of the total is the GPU node and of that 25W is the GPU itself Three of the odroid nodes are the k8s control plane + ceph mon, the fourth odroid runs two ceph OSD and functions as a worker node as well. There is a MikroTik CRS310-8G+2S+IN providing networking (I may use spare ports for LACP if needed), and a RB5009 standing by to take over as the core router Two raspi4 will serve as dhcp/dns/misc The plan is to avoid hardware upgrades*; I want to wait for some new stuff I think. I'll probably want a third worker eventually.
