It's okay to talk about using LibreWolf from a Vivaldi Social account, right?
I figured out how to get #LibreWolf working with mobile-config-firefox on #Librem5 running #Mobian #Trixie.
Since the recent change in #Mozilla terms of service, I was trying to use non mozilla browsers and succeeded mostly. On my #Debian sid laptop I mainly use gnome web (which uses #webkit).
But on #FLX1 I still have to use #Firefox. #FreeSoftware

#LibreWolf v138.0.1-2 is now available!
https://codeberg.org/librewolf/bsys6/releases/tag/138.0.1-2
This release fixes the User Agent related issues that were present in the previous 138.0-1 and 138.0.1-1 releases.
No major changes from LibreWolf's end. See https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/138.0.1/releasenotes/ for upstream changes.
EDIT: Que ningú no digui "pagant".
So my #LibreWolf browser just updated and now #WhatsApp web, which was working before the update says "browser not supported".
Anyone know how to fix/get around/bluff my way into the WhatsApp web that WAS working a few moments ago?
Thanks!
Did #Librewolf recently change its user agent string, or how that interacts with the fingerprint resistance settings (which I have disabled)? Can't find anything in their release notes, but it updated today and I had to manually change `general.useragent.compatMode.firefox` to true in `about:config` to get Slack and AMO to stop complaining that I wasn't using Firefox. I know those sites worked before.
Also, yesterday was a busy day overall. I pushed many updates to #nwgshell, #mame, #libreoffice #firefox and even uploaded a arm64 #librewolf package. https://slackware.lngn.net/
When you dive deep into using @zenbrowser as your go-to browser, you’ll notice something pretty quickly.
You end up with around 17 essential tabs, and some of those you just have to pin because you need quick access to your music.
That’s the moment you realize this browser isn’t going anywhere.
Here are my notes about running #firejail on #Slackware #Linux to isolate Web browser applications and don’t let them access my precious data.

Weirdly the #LibreWolf (LW) browser suddenly threw double-spaces between words, and single-spaces between numbers. But not everywhere.
Using LW for weeks on multiple machines, suddenly this morning I guess I have to turn off "Resist Fingerprinting," the apparent and successful workaround.
@mhoye @theverge the Verge puts 800 cookies in your browser when you visit their website . So ...
Concerning Chrome try the alternative #Librewolf based on firefox with settings more respectful of your privacy
Was genau mach ich hier falsch?
life hack for kde and firefox (librewolf) users:
set "widget.use-xdg-desktop-portal.file-picker" to "1" in "about:config" to use dolphin as your file picker if its not being used by default yet.
@estelle LibreWolf's onboarding needs work. It's not made clear to the users that cookies won't be stored by default, for example. But the option to keep them is hidden here, and can be turned on or off for each domain:
