So I watched Wat of the Rohirrim the other day and I'm sad to report it is not good. It could be much worse, but it is not good.
I think a lot of the tension comes from getting pulled in two directions tonally. It can't decide whether it's #LOTR or Anime, and this switches between them
The writing itself is.... Fine. Not great.
The animation is... Fine. Reminded me of Castlevania but not as good, and all the background os CGI.
The story is.... Fine.

Known more for his #lordoftherings album (which is fantastic), I have the same love for THIS album as I do for the former.

I used to do a lot of drugs in my teens & 20s, particularly when I lived in New York.
It was around that time in NYC in the early 2000s that I first discovered his music. Copious sessions of rails, shrooms & bong hits & weird tunes.

Back in 2001, when I was reading #LordOfTheRings, I had a small carton of sesame halva that my mom left me.

When I was reading the part of the book where Gimli is discussing #Lembas, I was enjoying the halva, and ever since then, whenever I have halva, I call it lembas. ^__^

It's really, really, really good. It's obviously not a kind of bread, unlike Lembas, and it's of dubious nutritional value, but it is very tasty and filling.

I am completely building one bracer before I make any pieces for the other side, just in case I discover some major flaw in my design or process along the way. So this is where that first one stands after this weekend. I was hoping to get into the leather work by now, but I didn't quite make it.
