This might be the post that costs me some followers, but growth often comes with a little discomfort, and I’m here for it.

I truly believe classic psychedelics have the power to change the world for the better, when paired with the right set and setting, a trusted trip sitter, and the right mindset.

@AdeptVeritatis Again, the article discusses (R)-MDMA, which acts primarily as a serotonin–norepinephrine releasing agent (SNRA) with minimal to negligible dopamine transporter (DAT) substrate activity, unlike (S)-MDMA and racemic MDMA that robustly release dopamine and engage dopaminergic reward pathways. This pharmacodynamic profile results in (R)-MDMA exhibiting attenuated psychostimulant effects and markedly reduced reinforcement and addictive potential.

(R)-MDMA lacks significant agonism at serotonin 5-HT2A receptors, differentiating it from classical psychedelics. Its entactogenic effects arise mainly from enhanced serotonergic and noradrenergic transmission without the hallmark psychedelic 5-HT2A-mediated perceptual alterations. Consequently, (R)-MDMA cannot replicate the profound empathogenic-euphoric synergy and subjective depth of racemic MDMA or classical psychedelics.

@AdeptVeritatis I'm pro classic psychedelics, LSD in particular, and I trip, especially on 4/19, Bicycle Day.

I’m always skeptical of new psychedelics, they often feel like placebos or eventually is classified one. Classic psychedelics, though, deliver a real, unmatched experience.

I wonder what Michael Pollan or Albert Hofmann (if he were still alive), would say about this.

With Pollan’s deep insight and Hofmann’s legacy as LSD’s discoverer, their perspectives would add serious weight to the conversation.

Es ist so ungemein faszinierend, wie [legales] #LSD noch Wochen später bei mir plötzlich neue Selbstreflexionsperspektiven auftut. Oder neulich, da habe ich in einen fantastisch entspannten, fokussierten Arbeitsmodus gefunden. In der Kombination ganz originell, geerdet in einem fast meditativen Gegenwartsbewusstsein. Ich registriere richtig, wie mich durch den Stoff die Neuroplastizität auf einmal befähigt, aus meinen üblichen Denkpfaden auszubrechen, das ist letztlich einfach fulminant!
