#TaylorFarms facing lawsuits over children and a woman following an E. coli outbreak linked to romaine #lettuce that affected 89 people across 15 states, including eight victims in Indiana, some who suffered acute kidney failure – due to undisclosed #outbreak of #BigAg animal feces borne illness in #California grown lettuce.

Lead attorney bringing cases issued statement “It is disappointing, but with 20,000 employees at Health and Human Services (#HHS) being fired, investigating, and reporting on outbreaks and alerting the public to the cause is clearly not a priority for this administration. If the gutted #CDC and #FDA can no longer do the job, we will step up to inform and protect the public – so much for ‘Make America Healthy Again (#MAHA),'” said William “Bill” Marler.

Listening to #NoAgenda with a critical ear can be like watching movies that are so bad, they're good. @adam being all in on getting rid of the synthetic food coloring only to have Dvorak bring up that the natural alternatives are often made from beetles. After they've been complaining for years that the evil establishment is trying to make us all eat bugs.

Are you not entertained?

The MAHA movement seems intent on rolling back progress on every public health win in the last 50 years.

Vaccines, abortion access, reproductive rights, ecoli & salmonella monitoring, food safety regulations… the list goes on

There’s a reason the average life expectancy used to be so much lower.

“Make American Healthy Again”

Dismantles any remaining Covid reporting

Mask bans

Autism registries

FDA no longer reporting on food safety

Department of Ag no longer requiring salmonella limits

It was never about health. It’s about placing blame on chronically ill people for being ill in the first place. It’s about eugenics.

Their policy choices are killing and disabling people and they know it.

The US is trying to ban masks, mRNA vaccines, dismantle healthcare and social supports and arranging to keep lists of people with autism (and possibly other disabilities).

This is not how you tackle the chronic illness epidemic. This is how you begin a nationwide eugenics program.

'Coincidentally, the push for less onerous standards on supplements and psychedelics would come while Kennedy is demanding “gold-standard science” to review preservatives and other food additives that he has said could play a role in the country’s high rate of chronic diseases.'

How many need to claim something causes autism or a chronic disease for #MAHA to think it's worth looking into? How big and how long does the study need to be? Why should someone or some group be trusted with making that call or doing the research?

AFAIK there are no perfect answers to any of these questions. There never have been. There have always been dissident voices. The only difference now is the power of the internet to multiply these dissident opinions into political pressure. #science

If MAHA truly wanted to tackle the chronic illness epidemic, they would provide the following:

Free respirators, Covid/flu tests and vaccines

Clean air in public spaces

Paid time off/sick leave

paid childcare

Mandatory masking in healthcare

Universal healthcare

Universal basic income

They don’t want to end the chronic illness epidemic, they want the chronically ill to disappear. There’s a big difference.

It’s eugenics on full display, and people are buying it because of their own internalized ableism.

They need to believe chronic illness can’t happen to them. That if they do the “right things” they will be fine.

Everyone is only temporarily abled. Help us fight for better social supports, healthcare and inclusion. It benefits everyone.
