Adolf Eichmann, who oversaw the deportation of <a href="https://babka.social/tags/Hungary" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Hungary</span></a>’s Jewish population to Auschwitz, arrived there on March 19, 1944, the day that German troops marched into Hungary.
