#Perseverance moved to a new location close by. The image shows my prediction for its next target (ellipse).

EDIT: Updated map, but it looks like it needs some CRS work after my recent change to the new #HiRise imagery.

A pair of SUPERCAM images in a pseudo-3D setting for cross-eyed viewing. The small parallax doesn't offer much of 3D depth.

The little 1.5cm pebble is about 2.8m from the camera (2m horizontal distance), yet another of those #JezeroBrightRocks that #Perseverance keeps a record of.

Or, maybe, #Perseverance just came back to that old abrasion to try and core that same rock, like, tosol?

(what happened to that drill bit? It looks rather strangely coated with something…)

The Mars 2020 Science Team gathered for a week in June to discuss recent science results, synthesize earlier mission observations, and discuss future plans for continued exploration of Jezero’s crater rim.

#Perseverance is having a literal deja vu with an old abrasion.

I was AFK at the time, but… did they also try to core that rock? It certainly looks that way, but AFAICT it wasn't mentioned back then in April.

(For conspiracists:) Has the rover done other stealth operations like this? 🙃

#Perseverance apparently doesn't want to leave this place.

New location, very close to RMC 72.0000 where the rover was on April 23 and sol 1472.

Not a marsquake caught on camera, only a wiggle 3D animation of the last abrasion. And a cross-eyed 3D, too.
