"Takes a Little Time" was a #maxisingle released in 1997 to promote #AmyGrant's album #BehindTheEyes, which was also released that year. "Takes a Little Time" included two songs from Behind the Eyes, as well as a new version of Grant's 1982 Christian radio hit, "#ElShaddai". The maxi-single was also an #enhancedCD (ECD); a video could be viewed when inserted into a home computer. The ECD portion of the CD contained a live acoustic version of the song After the Fire.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 - 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 - 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟯

Le 7 mars 1983, 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 sortait 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮. Une chanson qui allie l’héritage post-punk de 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 aux nouvelles influences électroniques. Dès les premières secondes, le beat mécanique de la boîte à rythmes, les synthés et la basse hypnotique de 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗼𝗸 installent une atmosphère futuriste et irrésistible.
42 ans après sa sortie, 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮 continue de hanter les clubs, les playlists et les compilations en tous genres.

L’autre coup de génie de 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮, c’est sa pochette conçue par 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲. Inspirée des disquettes informatiques 5"1/4 utilisées à l’époque, elle arbore un design minimaliste et énigmatique, sans mention du titre ni du nom du groupe. Juste un code couleur sur la tranche. Mais cette audace a eu un prix: l’impression de cette pochette, avec sa découpe unique et ses finitions élaborées, était tellement coûteuse que 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 perdait de l’argent sur chaque exemplaire vendu. Un paradoxe pour ce qui reste le single 12" le plus vendu de tous les temps, avec plus d’un million de copies écoulées au Royaume-Uni.
